Ignite in the USA

For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. (Deut. 4.24, NIV)

Ignite challenges people to discover God’s purpose for their life, to be a disciple of Jesus and to transform their generation. Ignite is not about events or hype or merchandise, but about lifestyle!

Over the years many US students have signed up to the Ignite Declaration and some have even travelled to the UK to work with us here, but we know that you want to ignite your generation in your home towns and cities!

Many young people have connected to Ignite through Ignite's international development director Nigel James traveling as Third Day's road pastor extensively across the USA.

Our main ministry partner in the USA is HOLYFIRE  headed up by Justin Kendrick and Jeremiah Lacoille.  Jeremiah was an intern with Ignite in the UK for a while.  Nigel and Ignite particularly commend the ministry of HOLYFIRE to students and campus-based Christian groups.

Ignite also partners with Campus Ministry Fort Wayne, in the area of leadership training and missions, and Campus Pastor Dr. Ben Gates often invites Nigel James to speak at IPFW where Campus Ministry is based.  In 2008, Campus MInistry partnered Ignite in a mission trip to India.

Ignite also partners with The College of Business Administration at Abilene Christian University and Nigel James often ministers at the COBA Leadership Summit at the invitation of Professor Mike Winegeart.
